We Donzo!!!!

I finished the Tie Fighter!!! The print job did was not perfect but it was not bad to the point where I had to reprint. I am currently putting my Tie Fighter together. I started with the glue my teacher gave me, but the glue dried to fast for my slow pace. I am using hot glue to put my Tie Fighter together. The one problem I ran into was that the hot glue would break incredibly easily and I am still trying to figure out what I can do to fix that problem. I hope that finding the solution will be as easy as just adding more glue.

Pictures to come later.

Changes, Changes and more PANCAKE Changes

I am officially reprinting my Tie Fighter. I had a few problems with putting the thing together. The shafts on the wing connectors did not print well and neither did the holes on the wings. I also added some receivers/guides to the body pieces so that it will be easier to glue the body and the connectors together. I am reprinting and hoping that the Tie Fighter will be ready tomorrow so I can show you guys the finished product.

The Pancakes, I Mean, Tie Fighter is done.

Sooooooooo the Tie Fighter is all finished up and is ready to be 3D printed. The final product has 6 different parts that will have to be pressed together and glued. The cockpit ended up being a part that was not too hard to CAD. Here is the finished project on Inventor. I personally think that it turned out really good.

The files are uploaded to the printer and is now printing. All I have to do now is to wait then glue all my pieces together.

Now for Pancakes:
