Cock that pit

That means I've started on the cockpit of my Tie Fighter. I started CADing it and well it's incredibly difficult. This is the front view of the cockpit. I kinda have to make this thing and it's kinda incredibly difficult.
I was making the cockpit and I realized that the window is curved along the Tie Fighter and I was making it straight. So I now have to restart the cockpit. I will not be blogging or working on this for the next week and a half, but I hope to finish this by the next few blogs.

Wish me luck and hopefully by the next blog I can have this thing finished.

TTTTTTTTie Fighter

Pancakes.

I have started on my project and well, I think I'm working with a pretty good pace. I have finished the fancy wing and the thingy connecting the wing to the body/cockpit of the Tie Fighter. My ambitions to make a Tie Fighter with all the textures have gone down the toilet because it would be impossible to 3D print because of the many overhangs that it would have. I have started on the body/cockpit but it is very difficult. Just look at this thing.

Wish me luck. This thing will take the rest of my life.

Introducing, PANCAKES ....... My CAD Project

Hello Fellow CADers aka Steve!!!

So this my blog about 3D modeling and printing what I model. So this blog will be pretty straight forward and will be incredibly boring (unless you are Steve checking in on my project).

So pancakes am I right?
I'm a huge Star Wars fan so I decided to CAD the Death Star. Just kidding!!! So I'm actually CADing this thing. It's called a Tie Fighter (this is for you Steve).

.

I actually have to think about how I CAD this because we are 3D printing this thing. We can't have overhang and what not so, I actually have to think while CADing.  So I'm actually making multiple parts that I will later attach together.
